Dr Ilana Pine is a principal dentist and practice owner in Manchester with over 28 years’ clinical experience in restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry. She qualified from the University of Manchester in 1998 and later gained MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and an MSc in Dental Implantology with Merit from the University of Salford.
Dentistry has always been part of Ilana’s family life. Her father was a dentist, and today her daughter is a dentist too, making dentistry a profession spanning three generations of her family. Over her own career, Ilana has also had the privilege of caring for generations of patients and their families.
Her philosophy is simple: preserve natural teeth and intervene as little as possible. She believes the best treatment is sometimes the treatment you can avoid altogether. If the right toothpaste can solve a problem, protect a tooth and prevent the need for more extensive dentistry later, that is a win for the patient.
It was this shared focus on practical, evidence-based prevention that attracted Ilana to S3 and ultimately led her to invest in the company.
