Dr Niki Koutsiafti is a general dentist and IACSD accredited sedationist based in Glasgow. Since graduating from the University of Athens in 2016, she has practised NHS and private general dentistry across Scotland, and now works at Shawlands Dental Care.
Niki has completed further training in short-term orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and periodontics, alongside dental conscious sedation. Her clinical interests include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and conscious sedation.
That combination means she is able to accommodate most patients’ needs across all aspects of dentistry, and to create a calm, caring environment for anxious and nervous patients before, during and after treatment.
Niki was an early founding member of S3 Sensitivity Science. Sensitivity is a common and recurrent concern her patients raise, and one they rarely find lasting relief from. Having tried S3 herself and followed the science behind it since its early development stages, she is excited by what the product offers to people who live with sensitivity every day, and by where the brand goes next.
