Dr Zahir Kaderbhai

Dr Zahir Kaderbhai is the Clinical Director of the multi-award-winning Thurmaston Dental & Implant Studio in Leicester. Since qualifying in 2013, he has completed postgraduate training in implant dentistry, facial aesthetics, orthodontics, conscious sedation and dental education, along with a Masters in Dental Implantology (Rome, 2024), with a particular interest in digital workflows, restorative dentistry and complex implant rehabilitation. His clinical interests also include clear aligner therapy, composite bonding and the patient journey.

Alongside his clinical practice, he is passionate about education and has spent several years teaching and mentoring undergraduate students, foundation dentists and qualified clinicians, helping them develop confidence in both clinical and digital dentistry. As a former Educational Supervisor, he has supported the training of newly qualified dentists and continues to lecture and mentor experienced dentists on implant dentistry, digital workflows and practice development. He is also Clinical Director of Piqqer and UPOD Medical, and he and the practice have been finalists and Highly Commended across five categories at the Private Dentistry Awards, including Best Young Dentist, Practice of the Year and Team of the Year.

Dr Kaderbhai is committed to evidence-based dentistry and enjoys combining the latest technology with a patient-centred approach to achieve predictable, long-lasting results. He is passionate about improving patient experiences and advancing standards of care through innovation, education and collaboration.

Tooth sensitivity is something he sees every week in practice, and many patients have learned to live with it because the products available have not given them the relief they hoped for. That is what drew him to S3: a science-led approach built on research rather than marketing, with the aim of giving patients more effective, longer-lasting relief.
