Haleemah Rashid
Founding Dental Therapist
Dental Therapist & Hygienist
Haleemah Rashid is a dental therapist and hygienist working across practices in the West Midlands. She qualified in dental therapy from the University of Sheffield in 2017, and shortly after qualifying volunteered abroad, teaching in health clinics and schools.
Her work is preventive by definition. Therapists and hygienists see patients more often than anyone else in the practice, and much of the job is the unglamorous, high-value part of dentistry: stopping problems before they need treating, and helping people change what they do at home.
She is known for an approachable, gentle manner, and for the time she gives to anxious and nervous patients, who often find hygiene appointments the hardest part of dental care.
Sensitivity is central to that. It is one of the most common reasons patients avoid brushing an area properly or skip appointments, and the avoidance makes everything else harder to treat. Supporting S3 meant backing a daily toothpaste built around the causes of sensitivity, calming, strengthening and protecting in one formula, which is exactly the kind of thing she can recommend at every appointment.
