Ryan has spent more than four years in oral care, focused on innovation in a category most people never think twice about. He launched the UK’s first refillable toothpaste with Life Supplies – clean, natural, SLS-free formulas in fully refillable, lower-waste packaging – rethinking what an everyday toothpaste could be, and how little it had to cost the planet.

The more he learned, the more the category drew him in. Two numbers stayed with him: one in three people live with sensitive teeth, and 75% never find complete relief from the products on the shelf today. It is a problem the industry had treated as background noise – accepted, managed, never
properly solved – and he became convinced it deserved far better.

So he set out to bring together the best and brightest minds in sensitivity – the clinicians, the formulators, the people who built the category’s biggest brands – and to deliver real relief through sensitivity science. That is what became S3: a single brand built around the three actions sensitive
teeth need: calm, strengthen and protect, and the conviction that no one should
have to live with sensitive teeth.
